Applications

From the cast aluminum handwheel to the stainless steel companion flange, the Halliday televalve is manufactured to meet the most demanding specifications and the most rugged field applications.


Common to all Halliday Products Telescoping Valves

  • 16 diameter aluminum handwheel
  • All type 304 stainless steel
  • Stainless steel companion flange
  • Neoprene wipe gasket


Series V4A with non-corrosive qualities and in non-rising stem models, it features:

  • Triple-lead stainless steel acme rod
  • Brass lifting nut
  • Polymer bearing pads


Series V4R with non-corrosive qualities and in rising stem models, it features:

  • 1" (25mm) square stainless steel rack
  • Stainless steel spur gear
  • Oil-impregnated sintered bronze bushings


Series V4A Telescoping Valve

Heavy-duty telescoping valve, is commonly used in clarifiers, sludge basins, and drying beds and are used to regulate and adjust liquid depths. Units are sized to the existing riser pipe and travel requirements of the application. An all stainless steel floor stand utilizes a 16" (406mm) aluminum handwheel and 11/8" (29mm) stainless steel triple lead acme rod for slip tube movement. The floor stand can be offset or mounted inline. A brass lifting nut and polymer bearing pads are contained in a cast aluminum housing. The stainless steel slip tube is available in three different configurations. Stainless steel scum baffles are available. Units are supplied with a 150 lb. stainless steel mating flange and 1/4 inch (7mm) thick neoprene wipe gasket to minimize leakage. Assemblies are non-rising stem configuration.

Series V4R Telescoping Valve

The floor stand can be offset or mounted inline. The stainless steel slip tube is available in three different configurations. Stainless steel scum baffles are available. Units are supplied with a 150 lb. stainless steel mating flange and 1/4 inch (7mm) thick neoprene wipe gasket to minimize leakage. Assemblies are rising stem configuration.
