Slide and Stop Gates
Applications
Self contained slide and stop gates by Halliday Products feature an extruded aluminum frame with polymer guide and 1/4" (7mm) reinforced aluminum gate. Our gates are custom fabricated and can be wall mounted or embedded. Slide gates are provided with stainless steel triple lead acme rod, aluminum hand wheel and brass lifting nut.
Series G1A and G1B Slide Gates
Medium duty self-contained aluminum slide gate is used in moderate head conditions where a slight leakage is allowable. This style of gate is commonly used in splitter boxes, headworks, clarifiers, weir boxes, control chambers, lagoons and bar screen structures. The extruded aluminum frame has a factory applied bituminous coating and incorporates a dove tail polymer guide. The plate thickness is 1/4" (7mm) and the frame weight is 2.3 lbs. per foot (3.5 kg. per meter). Units utilize a 16" (406mm) aluminum handwheel and 11/8" (29mm) stainless steel triple lead acme rod for gate movement. A brass lifting nut and polymer bearing pads are contained in a cast aluminum housing. Gate assemblies can be embedded, face mounted or installed in existing channel applications. Units conform to AWWA 501-C allowable leakage standards.

Series G1D and G1E Slide Gates
Heavy-duty self-contained aluminum slide gate is used in moderate head conditions where a slight leakage is allowable. This style of gate is commonly used in splitter boxes, headworks, clarifiers, weir boxes, control chambers, lagoons and bar screen structures. The dual slot extruded aluminum frame has a factory applied bituminous coating and incorporates a dove tail polymer guide and features a flush bottom with heavy-duty neoprene gasket. The plate thickness is 1/4" (7mm) and the frame weight is 4 lbs. per foot (6 kg. per meter). Units utilize a 16" (406mm), aluminum handwheel and 1 1/2" (38mm) stainless steel acme rod for gate movement. A brass lifting nut and polymer bearing pads are contained in a cast aluminum housing. Gate assemblies can be embedded or face mounted and conform to AWWA 501-C allowable leakage standards.

Series N1 Stop Gate
Manually operated ( hand pulled ) stop gate is used in low head conditions where a slight leakage is allowable. This type of gate is commonly used in splitter boxes, head works, weir boxes and bar screen structures. This style of gate should not be used if the size requirement exceeds 36"x 36" (914mm x 914mm). The extruded aluminum frame weighs 2.3 lb.per foot (3.5 kg. per meter) and comes with a factory applied bituminous coating. The framework incorporates a dove tail polymer guide sized for 1/4" (7mm) aluminum plate. Units conform to AWWA 501-C allowable leakage standards, and can be embedded, face mounted or installed in existing channel applications.
