Recessed Lock Box
For Our Access Covers
The recessed lock box is used in conjunction with an owner-supplied padlock. It has an independently hinged cover that is opened when access to the padlock is desired. The recessed lock box is designed to facilitate a trip free walking surface with the security of a padlock to prevent unauthorized entry. The recessed lock box is not standard on any access cover Halliday Products produces. It can be added as an option to all access cover except the Series F1R.
Applications
The recessed lock box option should be specified when the security of an owner-supplied padlock is desired and when walking surfaces free of trip hazards are of concern. The recessed lock box successfully addresses both of these design concerns.
Specifications:
- The recessed lock box is cast aluminum and is continuously welded to the underside of the access cover.
- The recessed lock box has with an independently hinged cover.
- The hinge and attaching hardware are T-316 stainless steel.
- The padlock hole in the recessed lock box is 3/8” (10mm) in diameter.
