SERIES W

(Stainless Steel Channel Frame)

 

W1B & W1N Series

The W1B type 304 and W1N type 316 series are single door, channel framed access covers with 300 lb. psf (1464 kg psm) load rating. Units are supplied with spring assists. Please see the drawing page for standard features. The W1B and W1N series is ideal for casting into pump station top slabs directly above submersible pumps in locations where odor suppression is desirable. The channel frame acts as a gutter to capture water runoff and divert it away from the interior of the vault. Although the unit is not 100% water tight, it should be used when water intrusion or odor suppression is a determining factor.

W2B & W2N Series

The W2B type 304 and W2N type 316 series are double door, channel framed access covers with 300 lb. psf (1464 kg psm) load rating. Units are supplied with spring assists and are ideal for casting into top slabs directly above equipment in vaults that do not have provisions for drainage. Please see the drawing page for standard features. The channel frame acts as a gutter to capture water runoff and divert it away from the interior of the vault. Although the unit is not 100% water tight, it should be used when water intrusion is a determining factor.
