(H20 Load Rating)
H1R & H2R Series
The H-R series is an angle framed access cover with H-20 load rating. H-R series cover should be used in off street locations where the unit will not be subjected to high density traffic. Acceptable locations include vaults located close to roadways but not in the street. Single and double door units are supplied with spring assists. Please see the drawing page for standard features. This unit should be used in underground vaults that have provisions for drainage of incidental water. This unit should not be used if water intrusion is a determining factor. (See channel framed series H-W or H-C).

H1W & H2W Series
The H-W series is a channel framed access cover with H-20 load rating. H-W series cover should be used in off street locations where the unit will not be subjected to high density traffic. Acceptable locations include vaults located close to roadways but not in the street. Single and double door units are supplied with spring assists. Please see the drawing page for standard features. The channel frame acts as a gutter to capture water run off and divert it away from the interior of the vault. Although the unit is not 100% water tight, it should be used when water intrusion is a determining factor.

H1C & H2C Series
The H-C series is a channel framed access cover with H-20 load rating. H-C series cover should be used in off street locations where the unit will not be subjected to high density traffic. Acceptable locations include vaults located close to roadways but not in the street. Single and double door units are supplied with spring assists and should be used in applications where it is important that the cover not protrude into the channel frame when the cover is in the open position. Please see the drawing page for standard features. The channel frame acts as a gutter to capture water run off and divert it away from the interior of the vault. Although the unit is not 100% water tight, it should be used when water intrusion is a determining factor.
