1. Cover Leafs: 1/4" (7mm) aluminum diamond plate.

2. Channel Frame: 1/4" (7mm) aluminum with continuous anchor flange and a 1-1/2 inch (38mm) drainage coupling located in the front left corner of frame.

3. Frame Coating: bituminous coating where in contact with concrete.

4. Load Rating: 300 lbs. psf (1464 kg. psm) uniform live load with a maximum allowable deflection of 1/150 of the span.

5. Locking System: Type 316 stainless steel slam lock with removable key.

6. Cover equipped with the following stainless steel features: spring assists, T-316 heavy duty hinges, T-316 tamper proof attaching hardware, automatic T-316 hold open arm with aluminum latch.

SERIES W2S ACCESS DOOR

Specification:

 

The W2S (double leaf) series access frames and covers as manufactured by Halliday Products, Inc. of Orlando, Florida shall have a 1/4 inch (7mm) thick one-piece, mill finish, extruded aluminum channel frame, incorporating a continuous concrete anchor. A 1-1/2 inch (38mm) drainage coupling shall be located in the front left corner of the channel frame. A bituminous coating shall be applied to the frame exterior where it will come in contact with concrete. Door panel shall be 1/4" (7mm) aluminum diamond plate, reinforced to withstand a live load of 300 lbs. psf (1464 kg. psm), uniform live load with a maximum allowable deflection of 1/150 of the span.  Door shall open to 90 degrees and automatically lock with a T-316 stainless steel hold open arm with an aluminum release handle. For ease of operation, the hold open arm shall incorporate an enclosed stainless steel compression spring assist. Doors shall close flush with the frame and rest on a built-in neoprene cushion/gasket. Hinges and all fastening hardware shall be T-316 stainless steel. Unit shall lock with a T-316 stainless steel slam lock with removable key and have a non-corrosive handle. Unit shall carry a lifetime guarantee against defects in material and/or workmanship.
